What It Was Like to Live the High Life at Aqua Shard

Aqua Shard ranks in my mind as one of the best restaurants in London.

Firstly, it’s up here on the 31st floor. It’s called The Shard, you might have heard of it:

The Shard – Western Europe’s tallest building

Which means you know it’s going to be pretty stylish inside:

Stylish and sleek

And because you’re roughly 170 meters from the ground, it  means you get views like this:

As you savour food like this:

Trout roe, rock samphire, crispy skin and creme fraiche

And this:

Hereford Wild Steak with wild garlic, mashed potatoes and pickled walnut salad

And this:

All washed down with a coffee:

And when you’re finished, you can kick back and admire that view as night falls:

Aqua Shard is a luxury of the highest degree and absolutely deserves to be one of my top places to eat. Perfect for any occasion. If you’re planning a special night to wow a particular someone, then this is the place to go for a meal to remember.

You can see my full gallery of images from Aqua Shard if you’re still not convinced.

I was fortunate to have my visit arranged by fluidlondon.co.uk, London’s independent guide to bars and restaurants in the capital, and you can read my full review at the Aqua Shard here.
